On the heels of T-Mobile bowing out of the iPhone 5 craze it appears that they will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S2 next week. More details are not known at this time. AT&T (NYSE:T) was to release their version of the Galaxy S2 on September 18 but it did not happen. It will be released soon, though.
The Galaxy S2 is on the market though with Sprint(NYSE:S). Sprint released their version called the Epic 4G touch on September 16th, 2011.
The Galaxy S2 is an Android based smart phone that competes well with the iPhone line. It boasts a 4.3 screen with beautiful colors. It has a fast 1.2Ghz dual core processor. It is very light being made of plastic. It has a great camera and a battery that lasts a long time. The phone quality is good too.
In the past this phone was only available in Europe or unlocked in the US and was very expensive as all unlocked phones are. But that changed a week ago when Sprint released the Epic 4G. Next week T-Mobile will be releasing their version and soon AT&T will offer a version as well. The reviews for the Epic seem to be quite good. Only time will tell how well this Android phone will be able to compete with the iPhone 5 due out next month.
