Is T-Mobile Launching more Powerhouses?
You are forgiven if you think you are reading a script for the latest “James Bond” movie. Reports from various sources show that “Amaze 4G” is one of several trademark names filed by HTC recently. There is now some serious speculation that T-Mobile will receive two powerhouse products in the very near future, apparently supported by pictures and specifications that have been “leaked.”
The HTC Amaze 4G (Ruby) is from all accounts a device with impressive specifications. These include a 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch display and 1GB of RAM. Add to this, a possibly improved “my-Touch 4G” Slide camera application and you are looking at a very interesting mobile phone. However, other reports show that the images seen relating to this device were perhaps “blurry”, but they do reveal more about the HTC Amaze 4G (Ruby) than seen previously.
Further available information puts forward that the device incorporates an Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with possibly Sense UI 3.5, although most T-Mobile HTC models have a relatively small percentage of Sense UI. The referred to images cause speculation that this situation will apply to the HTC Amaze 4G (Ruby). This presumption, based on the premise that HTC Sense is not a usual addition, or that the images viewed, refer to a prototype model.
The release date under speculation is late October, which corresponds to the Samsung Hercules, aka the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy 2 or (II). We can only look forward to more revelations as and when they occur.
