Sprint has joined the ranks with AT&T and Verizon to sell iPhones and they are already seeing great returns.  Sprint reported a new one day sales record for any family of devices.  Sprint is the only carrier to offer an unlimited plan for the iPhone 4S.  This has helped them to have some advantage over other carriers with limited plans.

AT&T was also seeing record breaking numbers of sales and activations.  There were so many that some people were having to wait many hours to even activate their phones as the servers were so busy taking care of all the customers.  This was especially true on the east coast of the US.

Sprint apparently has a deal with Apple to sell more than 30 million iPhones over the next 4 years.  With the start they have gotten they might sell them more quickly than they anticipated.  Sprint was prepared for this launch and it looks like that preparation helped them to have their record day in sales.

The new iPhone 4S runs on the new iOS 5 operating system and includes a dual core chip that makes everything run fast.  There is an 8mp camera as well.  Also new is an intelligent voice recognition program called Siri that works as your personal secretary to make your work faster and hands free.
