A new master-planned community in Las Vegas in now offering luxury green homes that are priced from $159,450. The community, Rosetta, which is developed by Pardee Homes — a new home builder with new homes for sale in planned communities, is located at the southwestern valley in LA. The home builder’s pledge to build green homes started with the ground-breaking of EnergyStar homes in 1998.
In San Antonio and Dallas- Fort Worth, another line of affordable green homes are introduced recently by New York-based residential development firm, Petrides Homes. The new line of green homes has a SoHo lofts designs — an industrial aesthetic design of the 1970s, with average price starts at $150 per square foot.
Luxury green homes at Rosetta starts from $159,450 to $188,950, according to company information. Floor plans in the luxurious community includes great rooms with personal options, including covered patios and lofts, but it depends on the plan selected.
According to the Regional Sales Director at Pardee Homes, Rob Tuvell, the company’s green homes — LivingSmart’s water- and energy-savings measures translate to lesser home operating or utility costs.
The company’s green homes, according to Tuvell, are designed to have 30 eco-friendly standard and optional features and measures home buyers, which can increase energy efficiency, improve indoor air quality, and save water. Pardee’s new green homes also used recycled and sustainable materials to promote sustainability and energy efficiency.
Other features in the homes include granite kitchen countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and beech cabinets.
The green homes’ floor area starts from 1,444 to 1,881 square feet, with two-car spaces, while a two-storey home can have three baths and up to four bedrooms.
