It has certainly been something of busy week in the mobile tech world to say the very least, with Verizon first making the astonishing announcement that they will not be stocking the Samsung Galaxy S2, only to be followed by the Motorola Droid Bionic finally blowing its cover once and for all.
Needless to say, the latter of the two items is certainly the more favorable and it has at last been made official that the Motorola Droid Bionic is coming very soon. Not more than a few hours ago, the official Twitter page for the highly anticipated and incredibly elusive device was updated with a message reading:
“On September 8th 2011, the Motorola Droid Bionic will be in your hands.”
Needless to say, it really does not get any clearer than that and the endless rumors and speculative guesses can at long last be put to rest. On September 8th, loyal and patient devotees across the US will be able to visit their local Verizon Wireless outlets and finally see what all the fuss has been about.
The Motorola Droid Bionic is set to be the very first 4G LTE dual core Smartphone on Verizon, having already faced multiple delays and setbacks which have been attributed to upgrades and enhancements across the board. Needless to say, there are few insights to go on as to what said upgrades have actually entailed, but thought is an exciting one nonetheless.
So, the only question that really needs to be answered now is that as to whether it will prove worth the wait? Either way, at least we won’t be waiting much longer to find out…
