What appears to be a new and fascinating set of photographs have just come to light, detailing what may well be the elusive Motorola Droid Bionic along with the even more mystical device known as the Droid HD.
Of course, this is far from the first time ‘leaked; images of the Droid Bionic have surfaced online, but the latest set is certainly a step up from the grainy and blurred images we have become so very used to. Few surprises are therefore on offer, with spec details remaining the already-suspected 1GHx dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4.5 inch display and so on and so forth.
However, the real intrigue lies with the other device, which appears to be known as the Droid HD. From the look of the images, the device appears to be running the same Gingerbread OS through a similar 4.5 inch display, which we must assume as this stage has a hugely bumped up HD resolution. There also seems to be two side slots for SIM andMicroSDcards, a small bump for the camera pod and what looks like a large removable battery. The most notable feature of all however may be the astonishingly thin design, which looks to be no more than around the 9mm mark.
Needless to say, with no word as yet directly from the horse’s mouth regarding the standard Droid Bionic, details of its successor may be a way down the pipeline yet…but the images certainly give a little alluring food for thought in the meantime, if little else.
