LG Optimus LTE Announced

The new LG Optimus LTE has been revealed and various reports show that leading Smartphone suppliers such as Apple and Samsung could be looking towards a challenge. The LG or Android is the first handset with the benefit of a true high definition IPS 4.5 touch screen display and boasting the power of 4G connectivity. Interestingly, the IPS touch screen, with its 326ppi, provides the same attractive display as those of the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S.

LG Optimus LTE Announced

It is understood that the new LG Optimus LTE is only going to be launched initially in its home country of South Korea. All indications are that it will possess besides a high resolution screen, Long Term Evolution, but with the apparent advantage of a greater screen size.

The hidden power of the LG Optimus LTE is an impressive 1.5GHz dual core CPU, with the operating pre-installed. This is reputedly the latest version of Android for Smartphone’s’, the Gingerbread 2.3. A customized user interface is also included by LG. Added features of the LG Optimus LTE are that HDMI and DLNA are also supported, with connection to the Internet by Wi-Fi, besides the quicker Long Term Evolution.

As a leading manufacturer, LG would ensure it could at the very least compete with devices such as the Galaxy S2 and the awaited iPhone 4S. The addition of the LG Optimus LTE to its range certainly will certainly make the marketplace interesting in the future.
