Kern Schumacher Adds Another 2M Square Feet of Industrial Space to His Portfolio

Utah’s leading industrial property developer/owner, Kern Schumacher has begun the construction of an additional property to his portfolio—a two million square feet of industrial space. The addition will boost Schumacher’s industrial space in California, Nevada, and Utah,  to about 10 million square feet.

The first phase of the industrial space will be 507,000 square feet, and will be manage by Freeport West Industrial Properties.

Freeport West’s executive managing director Bradley J. Ross said that his company has seen a continuous demand and growth for industrial space with companies that needs expansion for their businesses, and the his company will continue to provide high-standard industrial buildings.

Freeport West Industrial Properties believes that Utah’s economy, being Forbes number 1 state in terms of business development,  will continue to prosper in the coming years.

In line with that confidence, Kern Schumacher is going to start the construction and site work for his industrial space with no prior commitment from prospective occupants. The second phase for the project will add another 507,000 square feet, springtime next year.

Bradley Ross added that with his company’s reputation in providing high standard industrial properties to high-end tenants is expecting the same result.

The project’s ongoing construction is situated at Salt Lake City, Utah, and with a target completion date on the July next year.

Freeport West Industrial Properties is consistent with their company’s growth in terms of industrial properties for their portfolio. For the last 5 years, the company has more or less 3 million square feet of industrial properties.

After the completion of the industrial space, two industrial building will be added afterwards.
