Solar Rainbow Services, a solar energy provider that owns, installs, designs, and solar photovoltaic systems have recently installed a solar system to an IT Consultancy firm, Omniholdings. The Solar Rainbow installed the solar photovoltaic system over of 120,000 square feet at Omni Holdings complex at New Brunswick Avenue in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
Another solar company, ET Solar Group Corporation has completed the 2.9MW ground-mounted solar power plant operating on photovoltaic panels for Wattner AG. The solar power plant has been connected to the national grid on December last year to produce 2.6 million kWh.
The Omni Holding’s complex major tenants include Toyo, Inc, Ronpak, Braco Manufacturing Co. and Magic Safety Products — which all can benefits from the recently installed solar system.
Solar Rainbow installed the solar system together with its subsidiary, More Core Commercial Roofing.
The clean and renewable power generated by the solar system, according to company information, can supply 80 percent of Omni Holding’s electric needs , and will produce about 1,100,000 kilowatt a year. Expected completion date for the entire project is on June this year.
The solar system installation can also reduce the total carbon emissions emitted by the entire complex by 1,759,020 pounds a year, thus reducing all the tenants’ environmental impact, which equates to saving about 1,730 barrels of oil or conserving approximately 89,750 gallons of gasoline per year.
According to the president and co-founder of Solar Rainbow Services, Solar Bawabeh, the company will also help Omni Holdings get their federal cash grants for the installation of their solar system from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which refunds about 30 percent of the total installation costs.
