The upcoming and highly anticipated HTC Vigor on the Verizon network has been so heavily rumored for so long that it has become almost impossible to keep tabs on the possible facts from the obvious fiction. Indeed, such has been the hype around each and every detail that even the name of the device has been called into question across the board with three distinct possibilities – the HTC Vigor, Incredible HD or perhaps the Rezound.
Of course, with Vigor being the first to have made its way into circulation it has to be expected that this is nothing more than a codename, which according to the latest leak may well prove to be the case. A new screenshot which appears to detail device management from inside the Verizon network lists the new Android Smartphone in question as ready to retail under the name of Rezound.
As such, it seems more than probable that if the device is being listed by the retailer as the Rezound, this is indeed the name it will take when made available for purchase, whenever exactly that may be.
Spec wise, so far we can pretty much rest assured that the HTC Rezound is to ship with a dual core processor, stunning HD touchscreen, Beats by Dr. Dre audio technology and 4G LTE support.
If the above proves to be true, this will undoubtedly be one of the most impressive releases of 2011 so far.
