A mixed-use development in downtown Houston, Texas, the Houston Pavilions will have a new entertainment venue, the reinvented Scott Gertner’s at Houston Pavilions will reopen in the mixed-use development third floor in spring time next year.
Scott Gertner’s Skybar was closed last year but will be reopening on a new location at the mixed-use development and is making major upgrades.
Houston Pavilions is a mixed-used development composed of office and retail spaces, entertainment, and dining. Houston’s first of its kind development in about 20 years. Major entertainment venue tenants include Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge, and House of Blues.
According to Scott Gertner, the former skybar could not be replicated but his aim to create a wonderful atmosphere in the new venue and the best musical talents will continue.
Gertner is also considering to include areas that can accommodate parties and events of all sizes. The new location is a bi-level venue with about 8,200 square feet of space, and a 3,500-square-foot rooftop deck.
The new entertainment venue in the mixed-use development will feature live music, as well as the former skybar’s tradition. It will also feature a rooftop lounge with the scenic view of Houston’s downtown area.
Geoff Jones, developer of the Houston Pavilions said the company is happy that Scott Gertner chose the center for his entertainment business. He also added that the new addition to its entertainment tenant is inline with its goal of making the center best destination in the city.
Entertainment venues in the mixed-use development are situated on the third floor.
