Just a year from acquiring a commercial building as their company’s headquarters, CoStar Group Inc— provider of information/marketing services to commercial real estate company and professionals in the U.S, has sold it for double the price. One of the major commercial real estate company that provides services in corporate advisory, real estate development, investment services, property management and agency leasing — Transwestern, is now expanding its services in New York City. The commercial real estate company is said to open its new Northeast region headquarters in the city.

Commercial Real Estate Company Expands to NY

The commercial real estate company named Patrick Robinson as the president for its Northeast region headquarters in New York.

According to a press release, the commercial real estate company’s expansion moves forward its domestic strategy that provides investment offerings and coast-to-coast service for its investors and clients.

The commercial real estate company is now aggressively hiring more real estate professionals within New York district.

Before joining Transwestern, Robinson served as an official and founding member of Centric Real Estate Advisors and Staubach Company’s regional office in New York.

Robinson is also a former Jones Lang LaSalle equity partner.

Transwestern’s president and chief executive officer, Larry P. Heard said, having Robinsons in the company is said to be critical in the company’s objectives in the city.

The company now operates about 28 corporate headquarters across the United States, with the opening of its regional office in New York. Recently, an Austin Business Journal names the company as the “top management company”.

Currently, stated the press release, the commercial real estate company manages and leases 1,200 commercial properties.
