Attorney General Recovers $2.2M from Construction Companies for Illegal Dumping
Attorney General from Illinois Lisa Madigan recovered about $2 million from ongoing lawsuits her office has filed against construction companies. Atty. Madigan filed lawsuits against construction companies that are accused of dumping construction waste at two prohibited construction debris sites in Harvey, Illinois.
Madigan said that construction companies that are dumping construction waste in illegal sites must be held responsible for their wastes, and should clean up the pollution in the environment.
